Display detachable for other eyewear
Vuzix has announced that its Tac-Eye LT, a rugged monocular display mounted on Oakley's SI Ballistic M-Frame 2.0 protective glasses, is now available for customers in Europe. The system integrates a small AMOLED display with 852x600 resolution, enabling users to view content from a wearable computer or other video sources.

Wrap 310 video eyewear resembles sunglasses
Vuzix has begun shipping its latest video eyewear device, Wrap 310, that was initially announced in September. The new eyewear incorporates the same basic functionality as the company’s visor-style displays, but with an outer design that resembles traditional sunglasses. It features a maximum screen resolution of 428x240 for each of its widescreen displays, which is said to be comparable to viewing a 55-inch screen from approximately 10 feet away.

Video playback paired with traditional appearance
Vuzix has announced the Wrap 310, its latest video eyewear device. The Wrap series integrates many of the same capabilities as the company's visor-style displays, but pairs the technology with the look of traditional sunglasses. The device also offers an improved user interface, along with independent focus adjustments and a choice between several lens colors.

Vuzix eyewear for iPhone
Vuzix has announced its high-quality 3-D mobile video eyewear is now compatible with the iPhone. The new cable is designed specifically for use with the iPhone and has been certified by Vuzix to meet Apple’s performance standard. Support is offered for 3-D video in formats such as side-by-side, interlaced, and all three major anaglyph modes. Vuzix is providing the cable as an upgrade for all current video eyewear customers, and will also be bundling it with the iWear AV230XL.
