Cooking database will feature 900+ recipes
Aimed at the growing Hispanic market, General Mills will soon release a free iPad-specific, Spanish-language recipe app that offers 900 Latin-inspired favorites. The app, called Que Rica Vida Recetario or "What a Rich Life Cookbook" in English, is being developed in response to strong consumer demand, and will feature pictures, an ingredient measurement converter, and recipes in 12 different categories, such as appetizers and snacks, breakfasts, salads, garnishes, drinks and beverages, breads, pastas, pastries and cookies, entrees, desserts, sauces and soups.

"Chef View" hears, speaks for use in kitchen
Mariner Software have updated their recipe, nutrition and wine management program MacGourmet Deluxe to version 3.0, offering a new Shopping List feature, recipe importing, and allowing users more customization of their existing recipes. The program sports an overhauled interface, lets users print a professional-looking cookbook and has a new "Chef View" that makes it easier to use the program while actually in the kitchen.
