MacUpdate software bundle
Longtime Mac OS software supplier MacUpdate on Wednesday unveiled its new Back-To-School-themed bundle, featuring 10 software titles normally priced at $600 separately, available for $50. MacUpdate is offering all purchasers of the bundle access to seven of the titles initially, with three subsequent applications to follow. Customers who are among the first to purchase the bundle will receive a bonus mystery app, but MacUpdate would not immediately reveal its nature.

Piano Wizard makes whiling away the hours feels less like torture and more like gaming fun. Although the software is aimed at children, adults can certainly learn to play the piano with it too. The first screen includes buttons to set up your keyboard, watch demos, enter Easy Mode or Premiere, if you bought that version, and to check for updates.

Pick of the Week promo
Apple and Starbucks on Tuesday announced a new collaboration, dubbed Pick of the Week. The program offers Starbucks customers free music and music videos, downloadable from the iTunes Store. According to the companies, the content will be available through Pick of the Week download cards, provided at more than 7,000 Starbucks locations in the United States. The cards will be good for 60 days from the date a song is named "Pick of the Week," and allow customers to get a complimentary (though pre-selected) song or music video.

Amazon.com is currently offering a free 1GB iPod shuffle with the purchase of a 32GB iPod touch. The online retailer lists blue, green, silver, and purple 1GB iPod shuffles as eligible models that customers can add to their shopping cart alongside the 32GB iPod touch. "Just add both items to your cart and you will not be charged for the Shuffle." Amazon.com lists the 32GB iPod touch at $494 and in stock.

Apple free shipping
The online Apple Store is pushing a special holiday promotion for today (December 10th) only where users can receive free shipping on any item purchased. The offer is available December 10th, 2007 from 3:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. PST. Excepted from the promtion are APC racks and uninterruptible power supply products, but apparently all other third-party products fall under the offer.
