Creates style sheets for documents without them
Developer David Blatner has made one of the most popular of his Blatner Tools plug-ins for Adobe InDesign available separately from the suite, available through DTP Tools. The plug-in, called Power Styles, is aimed specifically at documents that were developed without a consistent use of styles or no styles. The plug-in automatically generates new styles with generic names based on existing styles.

Mariner gets ReceitWallet
In brief: Dates have been set for the 2009 FileMaker DevCon and potential attendees can register now to receive special early EARLY bird pricing. Comm-Unity Networking Systems has finished testing their FileMaker Pro plug-ins with FileMaker 10 Pro and found that most still function exactly as they should. The two plug-ins that are experiencing minor flaws are being addressed and updates are expected to release soon. Meanwhile, Mariner Software has announced that it has now acquired ReceiptWallet and will begin selling it from their website in the near future.

DUY|31 set now shipping
DUY has launched an audio plug-in trio, the DUY|31, consisting of its DUY31|graphic, DUY31|analyzer & DUY|noiser for TDM (Time-Division Multiplexing) and Mac OS X based systems. The DUY|graphic plug-in is a 31-band linear-phase graphic equalizer, with fader controls covering a dynamic range of 48 dB. The DUY31|analyzer is a spectrum analyzer which provides a visual representation of the audio signal over 31 bands. The third plug-in, the DUY|noiser generates white and pink noise and can be used with the DUY31|graphic to calibrates audio spaces.

DTP promises more plug-ins
DTP Tools launched its first six plug-ins supporting InDesign CS4. The six new plug-ins are Page Control 2.1, History 2.3, Cross-Reference 1.0, Layer Comps 1.1, Layer Groups 1.2 and Tetris. Documents with multiple page sizes created with InDesign CS, CS2 and CS3 Page Control, documents containing History versions from InDesign CS through CS3, Documents utilizing Layer Comps and Layer Groups, and documents using Cross-References can now be fully utilized in InDesign CS4.
