A new FCC filing shows Samsung is planning to release a large tablet. The listing for the SM-P905 is believed by Engadget to have a display measuring somewhere in the region of 12 inches and a resolution of 2,560x1,600. Aside from its Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity, it is believed to form part of the Galaxy Note family of devices thanks to the presence of a pen slot.
Google is shutting down Google Video, iGoogle, and a number of other less-popular services as the company undergoes a period of "spring cleaning." The product discontinuations are part of a process that has seen the search giant shuttering or combining more than 30 services since last fall. In a post on the Official Google Blog, the company detailed the shutdown reasoning and schedule for five products.
Google's product VP Brad Horowitz told users Friday that several services were being culled in the near future. The company would first shed Google Buzz, its troubled social sharing service. Its programming interface should shut down in "a few weeks" and will limit users to reading and downloading whatever they made beforehand.
Google has done away with the special iPhone formatting once available for its iGoogle frontpage, accounts say. Visitors to the site were previously able to view a version specially tailored for the iPhone's Safari browser, with sections that could be inflated or collapsed to display web gadgets. In place of this, testing reveals, iPhone owners are now being redirected to the generic mobile site for iGoogle.

Computing hardware mounting company Wall-Smart has announced the availability the new "invisible" wall mount, with models for the iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4 -- all with no bezel. The invisible mount includes Power Over Ethernet to USB, which allows charging while in-wall, and is available for both drywall and solid surfaces such as solid wood panels or partition walls. The Seagate 3TB class-action hard drive lawsuit has been expanded to more devices. The expanded suit, filed today, now includes Seagate's Barracuda 3TB Hard Disk Drive, Desktop HDD 3TB, Backup Plus 3TB External Hard Disk Drive, GoFlex 3TB External Hard Disk Drive, or any other Seagate hard drive with model number ST3000DM001. The law firm, Hagens Berman, is seeking information from consumers such as time in service, purchase price, and the nature of any drive received in return from Seagate as a replacement for a failed unit. http://bit.ly/1Pc34Cq
