Gear4 has taken the wraps off its AlarmDock Halo 3 and StreetParty 5, both designed for the iPhone 5 and its proprietary Lightning connector. Gear4 claims that the AlarmDock Halo 3 is the first Lightning-equipped alarm clock radio made for the iPhone 5. Both the AlarmDock Halo 3 and StreetParty 5 portable speaker dock are also Apple ‘Made for iPod, iPhone’ certified.
Gear4 has revealed its range of cases for the iPhone 5. The new range includes a number of cases that are fairly nontraditional in their appearance, such as the edge-protecting Band ($20) that leaves the front and rear accessible while protecting the handset from shock damage. Thin Ice ($20) provides protection with its tough plastic design with a liquid rubber back, while also being the thinnest case for the iPhone 5 that Gear4 has to offer.
Gear 4 has showed off its latest iPhone and iPod dock, the House Party AirWave. The design is the first from the UK company that has access to Internet radio stations. Users can also now control the dock over Wi-Fi thanks to a free app, including when the Apple handheld is docked.
Gear4, a maker of iPhone accessories has introduced its new line of Angry Birds cases for the iPhone 4. The first three editions of the case features the King pig, the red and the yellow birds from the 10 million plus selling iOS game. They are currently listed as coming this November on UK carrier O2’s website.
Gear4 is best known as one of the eclectic iPhone and iPod accessory makers in its UK home: it makes speaker docks, but it also makes cases, chargers, and even karaoke accessories. Gear4 will be entering the US market for the first time in October with three products: the AlarmDock Reveal iPod alarm clock, the StreetParty4 speaker dock and the StreetParty Compact, a smaller version of the StreetParty4 speaker dock. We're reviewing all three Gear4 devices to see how they stack up.
UK-based GEAR4 has recently added to its comprehensive lineup of iPod accessories with its CRG-60 alarm clock and iPod dock. There are two alarms, with each giving users the option of waking up to music from the docked iPod, any FM radio station or a buzzer. The alarm clocks have snooze, sleep and nap functions, while the large LCD screen can be dimmed at night.
GEAR4 has introduced the CDM-100, a CD micro system with dock for the iPod and FM/AM radio. The CDM-100 mixes a top-loading CD player, a universal dock for the iPod and a clock with an alarm and sleep mode. The built-in AM/FM radio provides 30 programmable preset stations, and 5 preset EQ settings such as flat, classic, rock, pop and jazz. The device also offers a line-in port for use with other music players, and a remote control.
GEAR4 today announced the release of its newest portable speaker, the USB-powered BlackBox micro. As the smallest speaker in the company's range, the speaker can enhance the audio playback abilities of laptops or MP3 players thanks to an included mini USB-to-USB cable. There are two drivers hidden in the plastic shroud, with one dedicated to high notes, the other an SFX gel base driver for bass reproduction.
UK-based Gear4 on Thursday announced the release of its newest iPod dock, the BlackBox 24/7. The new dock is a 12-hour clock with alarm functionality, has a built-in FM radio tuner, and will play music and charge all iPods with docks. An auxiliary input allows the twin 2.75-inch speakers to play music from more traditional MP3 players as well.
Following up its DUO iPod dock released earlier this month, UK-based Gear4 has now released the StreetParty III, a portable speaker system that charges and plays Apple's docking iPods (including the iPod touch) and all other digital audio devices via a 3.5mm audio jack. The StreetParty III can be folded flat for easy portability, and relies on four AA batteries for music on the go.

Apple Music in Taiwan, now up to 113 countries
Apple Music has now added its 113th country, Taiwan, to its expanding list of areas where it offers its paid subscription service. The price in the country will start at NT$150 (about $4.50 US) for an individual subscription, and that now includes (as it does in the rest of the world) the formerly free-but-ad-supported iTunes Radio feature, which as in other countries will be customized somewhat to offer channels of locally-popular music styles. Following on the heels of the addition of the service to Turkey, Apple Music is now available in 16 countries and regions -- including China, India, Russia, and Japan -- where Spotify has not yet arrived. http://apple.co/1Q3yI2e
Invisible wall mount for iPad Pro, mini
Computing hardware mounting company Wall-Smart has announced the availability the new "invisible" wall mount, with models for the iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4 -- all with no bezel. The invisible mount includes ÂPower Over Ethernet to USB, which allows charging while in-wall, and is available for both drywall and solid surfaces such as solid wood panels or partition walls.
