Back in the olden days when recipes came in books, the pages would get splattered with egg yolk as you whisked away -- creating some Martha Stewart meal if you're in the States, or Delia Smith in the UK. Now the world has moved on, and our two countries share the sweary Gordon Ramsey, and what's getting splattered is Paprika Recipe Manager 2.1.6 for iPad. Or it should be: there are alternatives like MacGourmet, but Paprika is very, very good at this.
Ah, grocery shopping. How we hate it. There's almost nothing pleasant about going into a store to spend a lot of your hard-earned money on food that you didn't intend to buy. Grocery shopping while hungry is a disaster that will leave you broke. Grocery shopping after you eat will resolve in you barely buying any food, leaving you in the exact same situation you were before. The only solution is to make a list, and even that can be an endeavor in itself. That is, until you get your hands on an app like Organizy.
In addition to sandwich chain Panera Bread and Subway, and fast food king McDonald's, some 860 branch locations of sub sandwich chain Firehouse Subs will now officially begin accepting Apple Pay starting today. Apple Pay allows users to pay for food by simply holding the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus to a terminal while holding the Touch ID button on the devices. The franchise is hoping to more than double the number of locations it has in the US to over 2,000 by 2020.

Payment processing service Square has acquired a food delivery service. The purchase, estimated to be worth around $90 million in stock, sees Square take control of Caviar, a start-up delivery firm which allows restaurants and other food-related establishments to offer deliveries of orders to customers, even if the business does not typically offer any delivery service at all.

Apple to open new south Florida mall store
According to real estate trade papers in south Florida, Apple has signed a lease for a new retail space in Miami, at the forthcoming Brickell City Centre (yes, the UK spelling is used) open-air mall, which is set to open later this year. The center will feature a five-story shopping area, condominiums, a hotel and office buildings, along with a "climate ribbon" in the shopping area to keep visitors cool, eschewing traditional air conditioning. The exact location of the Apple Store within the plan is not yet clear, but the destination already boasts 75 confirmed stores. http://bit.ly/1Q7n7Wd
