Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gods and Kings, the expansion pack for Firaxis' Civilization V is now available for the Mac and PC in North America, and will be available internationally on June 22. The expansion adds new gameplay content and more paths to world domination, as well as enhanced diplomacy and more civilizations. Religion makes its return to the series after its removal from the series following Civilization IV.
"Empires:" Asian Dynasties
Macsoft has announced Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties," the second expansion pack for its combat strategy game. Asian Dynasties adds new single-player “campaigns,” additional game modes, civilizations and technologies. Players command one of three Asian civilizations: the Chinese, Indians or Japanese. Each civilization has unique armies and cultures. Scenarios are based on historical events, as well as new original stories.
Crusader Kings Deus Vult
Virtual Programming recently unveiled an expansion to Crusader Kings, which it is calling Deus Vult, available as an digital download. Players are charged with creating medieval Europe's most powerful dynasty, from 1066 to 1453 AD. Gain prestige and increase the greatness of your lands and coffers. Build cathedrals and castles, and recruit vassal states, while battling traitors, introduce laws and taxes, and interact with hundreds of courtiers and nobles. Virtual Programming is selling Crusader Kings: Deus Vult for $20.
