Creates and converts files for use on the iPhone
Wondershare Software has launched its newest audio/video conversion software, iPhone Ringtone Maker for Mac. The app enables users to convert almost any audio or video file for use on the iPhone, while providing options to create and transfer ringtones. Its equipped with a wave-form function, an editor which allows users to choose what specific sections of files they want. The utility provides control over both the starting and stopping time of ringtones. Additionally, users can add fade-in and fade-out effects to their edited audio or video clips.

Imagine Products has introduced new versions of its ShoutPut Pro and ProxyMill applications, which support workflows for Canon 5D Mark II and JVC ProHD digital cameras. ShoutPut Pro delivers tools for managing HD digital media, enabling users to make secure copies of a memory card or hard disk’s contents, in up to three locations, along with the ability to create Blu-ray or DVD archivies. ProxyMill is an HD conversion software, that allows users to create HD Log files, to customize QuickTime codec, image quality or bit rates, and to make low-resolution H.264 or MPEG-4 QuickTime movies.

Import/export Flash Videos, works with AVCHD/Lite
Roxio's Popcorn 4 video conversion software is available today, with support for Adobe Flash web video, AVCHD and AVCHD lite, and the ability to preview how a converted file will look before processing the entire file. Designed to allow capture and transfer from "virtually any video source," the software includes device profiles that allow users to convert video optimized for consumer devices and gaming consoles. Also new to this version is the ability to directly upload to YouTube.

Currency Assistant 3.0 ($19) allows users to convert values between 174 world currencies (all major circulating currencies plus the 16 Eurozone legacy currencies). The software also automatically updates exchange rates over the Internet using the rates published by the European Central Bank, the Bank of Canada, the International Monetary Fund, and the Bank of Italy. In the latest release the software has been rewritten as a Universal Cocoa application, the currency conversion calculator has a fully revised interface and introduces several other new features. CyberDuck 3.1 is an open source FTP and SFTP (SSH Secure File Transfer) browser licensed under the GPL. The application features integration with external editors, as well as support for many Mac OS X system technologies such as Spotlight, Bonjour, the Keychain, and AppleScript. Version 3.1 has added support for both Amazon CloudFront (in conjunction with Amazon S3) and Cloud Files from Rackspace. CyberDuck also now features pre-configured protocol settings for MobileMe iDisk and can send rbitrary commands over SSH using the "Send Command" interface. TimeTable 1.5 ($15) allows users to analyze and total the number of hours recorded in iCal. It can also find trends by searching the details of events and viewing the average, minimum and maximum times spend on projects. The update has added a new expandable to do drawer and an option for exporting "to do" information to text and CSV.
