Ortelius supports flexible labeling, layers

Mapdiva has launched Ortelius, a vector-based map-illustrating software release. It includes cartography tools and vector-based styles and symbols and uses a WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) approach to design. Designers have access to Ortelius' royalty-free vector map templates, can add GIS Shapefiles and can add labels to maps with background information support and flexible font, size, alignment, and color. There are more than 20 tools for drawing, selecting and navigating in the new cartography software.
