Apps: iPrint, BannerZest, TextExpander

  • iPrint 2.0 ($15) allows users to select data within an application that they would like to print. The selection of data can be done through the use of a keyboard shortcut or a popup Dock menu and allows users to print only the material they desire to print. A new Preferences window has been added which allows users to set a default option of always displaying both the Page Setup and Print dialog boxes, always bypassing both the Page Setup and Print dialog boxes, or displaying just the Print dialog box.   • aLunch 3.6 (free) is an application launcher that is accessed from the menubar. The applications contained within it can be organized to make finding items quick and logical. In version 3.6 when a folder is registered into the launcher widow, the function which displays a hierarchical menu by right-clicking is added.     Aquafadas has released BannerZest 1.0, a new Flash presentation application for Mac OS X. The tool allows creators to turn images into a gallery, a navigation banner, or a slideshow in a series of steps. BannerZest ships as both a standard edition and a pro version. The pro edition adds advanced publishing options, workflow enhancements, and specific Pro templates. The tool integrates with popular javascript media viewer applications that let the user visualize high resolution versions of each of the banner images.
