Many 2011 iPad accessories will also work well
Apple's latest iPad, the 2012 edition, is only slightly thicker than the previous model, meaning that many non-form-fitting accessories should be compatible. Nonetheless, accessory makers are scrambling to announce all-new and compatible cases and other products to assure buyers that they'll work with their new iPad. California-based Scosche, Belkin and Waterfield Designs all have new cases, bags and stands.

Bag offers fitted, padded compartment
TOM BIHN today opened up pre-orders for the Ristretto Vertical Messenger Bag for the 11-inch MacBook Air. The bag is designed specifically for the updated 2010 Air, which was originally available only in a 13-inch version. The Ristretto uses open-cell padded foam for interior protection, and four-ply Taslan coating. Brushed nylon lining is meant to protect an Air from scratches. The exterior is lined with Cordura.

TOM BIHN’s Co-Pilot bag is designed as a small personal carry-on that can be used to hold an iPad and accessories when traveling.
