Seven years ago I spent a fortune on a fashion item without realising it. It was a Knomo leather case and I did not know that Knomo is a big name in fashion until my wife Angela told me so about twenty minutes ago. All I knew was that it cost £80 (about $125) and that I had bought it in a London Apple Store because I felt I had little choice. Flash forward seven years and I still have the bag but it's contents are completely different -- and now I'm getting men stopping me on the street to ask about it.
Apple's latest iPad, the 2012 edition, is only slightly thicker than the previous model, meaning that many non-form-fitting accessories should be compatible. Nonetheless, accessory makers are scrambling to announce all-new and compatible cases and other products to assure buyers that they'll work with their new iPad. California-based Scosche, Belkin and Waterfield Designs all have new cases, bags and stands.
The Cadet is a new luxury briefcase available from accessory maker Tom Bihn in two sizes, designed for Apple notebooks and tablets (though it is compatible with similar-sized models from other brands) that has room for extra supplies and small accessories. It is checkpoint-friendly and features an external iPhone pocket, a lifetime guarantee, and top-quality materials for mobile device owners. The company has been producing bags for computers for 30 years.

TOM BIHNís Co-Pilot bag is designed as a small personal carry-on that can be used to hold an iPad and accessories when traveling. It features a ballistic nylon exterior and lightweight Dyneema/nylon interior, which helps protect the iPad from scratches. The bag consists of three front pockets, one main compartment, and a back section, while users can choose to carry the bag from a Poron-foam handle or an attachable shoulder strap.
Booq has launched an airport-savvy notebook bag, the Taipan lift. The new bag features the ability to quickly unfold, leaving the notebook section unobstructed for quick inspection at airport security checkpoints. Google off the hook in CAPTCHA labor suit
US District Jacqueline Scott Corley has dismissed a proposed class-action suit against Google, that alleged that Google secretly was given an economic gain without user knowledge. The suit alleged, correctly, that the second word in Google's CAPTCHA service was used as a crowd-sourced word identification for Google's book-scanning project. The judge ruled that the suit as filed had no facts to support a "reasonable consumer would expect to receive compensation" for the seconds it took to complete the form, and in addition, the free Gmail account provided more than offset any labor penalty incurred by the user. http://bit.ly/1o06Cir
