Runs Android when used as tablet, Windows 8 PC in dock
Asus has put its combined all-in-one desktop PC and tablet on sale in the United States. The Transformer AiO runs Windows 8 while docked, for use as a computer, which then switches to an Android-powered slate. This in theory would allow users to just use one device for two completely different purposes.
Dell XPS 18 combines a desktop with a tablet, runs Windows 8
Dell has introduced its most interesting and innovative Windows 8 device to date. The new XPS 18 all-in-one is both a desktop PC as well as a large Windows 8 tablet that includes a built-in 69Whr battery good for up to 5 hours use. It is also a relatively manageable 4.87 pounds, which Dell says helps to ‘redefine the desktop.’
Touchscreens include fingerprint-resistant coating
Fujitsu is preparing to sell some new additions to its mobile computing and stationary computer catalog. The Arrows Tab is a water-resistant Android tablet, two new Lifebooks offer fingerprint-resistant screens, while the Esprimo range includes new all-in-one computers with built-in television recievers and DVR functions.
AMD targets premium market
AMD is currently showing off its 2013 products at CES, where the company announced a partnership with Vizio. The latter company has integrated the latest A10 APU in its 24-inch all-in-one, which we had a chance to try out before it arrives on the market later this year.
Range includes pair of Windows 8 hybrid tablet-notebooks
LG has revealed its lineup of PCs it will put on display at CES next month, all of which have Windows 8 pre-installed and take advantage of LG's IPS display technology. The collection includes a pair of hybrid notebook-tablets, an ultrabook with an eight-second booting time, and an all-in-one desktop computer with a touchscreen display.
Frameless design allows for easier corner swiping
MSI has launched a new all-in-one Windows 8 PC containing what the company calls "military class components." The Wind Top AE2712 has a 27-inch 1080p display with ten-point multitouch, housed in a frameless design that makes swiping to the corners, part of the new UI of Windows 8, easier to accomplish.
LG adds a hybrid slider and AIO its Windows 8 line-up
LG has joined the throng of manufacturers in rolling out brand new hardware for the imminent launch of Microsoft’s Windows 8 OS. Leading the introductions is a new 11.6-inch H160 hybrid slider PC. Like the Sony Vaio Duo 11 Slider, the device runs the full Windows 8 OS and weighs less than 3 pounds and converts from a notebook into a tablet.
Shipping systems after Windows 8 release date
Dell has put a number of its previously-revealed computers up for pre-order. The XPS 12 convertible tablet notebook, XPS One 27 All-In-One, and the Inspiron One 23 Windows 8-enabled systems are all set to ship soon after the Microsoft operating system release at the end of October.
HP Spectre One draws on many Apple-inspired themes
HP has introduced its first Spectre-branded all-in-in PC ready for Windows 8. The headlining Spectre One that instantly recalls Apple’s iMac lineup with its use of aluminum materials and a wireless keyboard and trackpad that are very reminiscent of Apple’s designs. The similarities with Apple don’t end with its appearance with HP’s marketing materials using the word ‘gorgeous’ to describe its new PC - an adjective that the late Steve Jobs was synonymous for using when describing Apple’s products.
HP intros two new all-in-ones, Envy 23 and Pavilion 23
HP has given its latest 23-inch all-in-one desktop the Envy moniker, which it up until now, has typically reserved for the company's high-end offerings. At first glance it does not meet this criteria, looking quite similar to the also just released entry-level Pavilion 23 all-in-one. However, it is a thinner design that the Pavilion, and also offers the higher-end componentary that users would expect for a desktop starting from $949.
AE2281G version allows for GPU shut-off when not required
MSI has introduced two new all-in-one PCs. The Wind Top AE2281 and AE2281G self-contained systems use 21.5-inch displays and are powered by 3.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 Ivy Bridge processors using 4GB of RAM, upgradable to 8GB. The built-in Smart Media Link lets the systems take advantage of DLNA-supported devices, while the Smart Sync allows cross-platform contact and media synchronization without the need to create a backup.
Vizio expanding from HDTVs to home computers
Vizio, known for their HDTVs, has put its previously announced PC line up for sale today. Two portables called the Notebook and the Thin+Light, along with the desk-bound All-In-One PC, are the producer's first foray into computers, which it revealed at CES earlier this year.
New XPS One features 27-inch screen, Ivy Bridge processor
Dell is refreshing its all-in-one PC offerings with the introduction of the XPS One 27, Inspiron One 23 and Inspiron One 20. The new XPS becomes Dell's largest all-in-one machine and leans towards more high-end components, while both Inspirons are aimed at more budget-conscious family users wanting to save desktop space.

HP has begun shipping its Z1 all-in-one workstation, which was first unveiled earlier this year. The all-in-one is the company's first 27-inch model to integrate workstation features, including a unique housing that can be quickly opened without tools if internal parts need to be swapped or upgraded.
New Lenovo M92z AIO leaks ahead of launch
The Lenovo ThinkCentre M92z stealth all-in-one has leaked ahead of its official unveiling. Although there are scant details about its hardware, what is obvious is that the company has adopted ‘monitor look’ where the user only sees a monitor with the PC components built-in behind the display. According to The Verge, the AIO will come in 20- and 23-inch versions, run Intel Ivy Bridge-based processors, include discrete graphics and include Windows 8-ready capacitive touchscreens.
Canon launches three AIO printers
Canon has introduced three all-in-one Pixma printers, the MX372, the MX512 Wireless and the MX432 Wireless. The two wireless enabled devices both support AirPrint allowing users to print directly from an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. The printers are also accompanied by a companion mobile app, Canon Easy-PhotoPrint that is available for both iOS- and Android-based smartphones and tablets and now allows users to print PDFs created directly on the devices, not just photos as previously.
AIO aims to compete with iMac
HP brought its new 27-inch Omni27 all-in-one desktop system to CES, enabling Electronista to take a closer look at the system. An HP rep did not shy away from comparing the device to Apple's 27-inch iMac, before noting the $500 price gap, though the features are clearly different.

Acer has unveiled a slew of new all-in-one desktop PCs. The New Z-series desktops are aimed at consumers, while the Veriton Z range are aimed at enterprise and are suitably frugal for the purpose. The desktops range in price from $429, through to as much as $1900, depending on configuration.
MG4120, MG3120, MG2120 better plain paper printing
Canon U.S.A. has announced three new PIXMA printers, MG4120 Wireless Photo All-In-One (AIO), MG3120 Wireless Photo All-In-One, and the MG2120 Photo All-In-One printers. The MG4120 and MG3120 use 802.11n Wi-Fi for networking, while the MG2120 uses a USB connection. All three printers use Canon's ChromaLife 100 ink system, which uses one black and one color cartridge. Canon claims the new ink system produces better yellows and reds, especially on plain paper. Each of the new printers can produce a full color 4x6 photo in approximately 44 seconds. The MG4120 and MG3120 also can duplex automatically.
Display folds flat for touchscreen use
Samsung is reportedly set to introduce its Series 7 all-in-one PC in the North American market. The 23-inch model features a thin display, as the computer components are fitted into the base that sits flat on a desk. The design enables the display to be tilted back by 90 degrees, touching the base and offering a horizontal plane for touchscreen use.

The base model is equipped with a 1600x900 multi-touch screen, a Pentium G620 CPU, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 500GB SATA II hard drive. An onboard Intel HD Graphics 2000 processor handles graphics. The computer runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit.
