Danish computer maker Zepto, which recently grabbed headlines by announcing what it calls the world's fastest 14-inch notebook with its Nox A14, has now announced the addition of its 12.1-inch Notus A12 notebook. The screen offers a maximum resolution of 1280x800, while other hardware is made up of an 800MHz Intel CPU, 1GB of RAM and an 80GB, 4,200RPM hard disk drive. The Notus A12 includes a gigabit Ethernet connection and integrated Wi-Fi module, along with a waterproof keyboard. [full story]

In an announcement, computer builder Zepto claims to have produced the "world's fastest" 14-inch notebook, in the form of the Nox A14. The computer technically uses a 14.1-inch display, capable of resolutions up to 1440x900; this is supported by a 512MB GeForce 9600M GT video card. The main processor scales up to a 2.53GHz mobile Core 2 Duo chip, and buyers can configure the system with up to 8GB of DDR2 RAM, supplemented by as much as 2GB of Intel Turbo Memory. [full story]

Zepto recently launched its 17-inch Hydra A17 gaming notebook, which features NVIDIA's GeForce 9800M GTX graphics card that includes 1GB of built-in memory. The screen delivers 1920x1200 resolution while processing power comes via a 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo. It is supplanted by 4GB of DDR3 system memory, along with a 1066MHz system bus. Danish luxury HDTV maker Zepto has wrapped up its year by releasing its new Helios LCD sets. Both the 32-inch A32 and 40-inch A40 have the option of a built-in wireless media center that picks up nearby Windows XP Media Center or Vista Home Premium computers on the local network, allowing the TV to stream video or other content without a separate set-top box.
