As tablets become more popular, people are starting to use their portable devices for extended typing. This has opened the market for external Bluetooth keyboards that improve the typing experience, without taking up additional space. ZAGG has attempted to address this issue with the ZAGGkeys FLEX, which includes the added feature of supporting both Android and iOS.

Logitech puts out iPad and Android tablet add-ons

Logitech on Thursday formally kicked off its first self-created tablet accessory line both for iPads and for Android 3 tablets. The Tablet Keyboard as the centerpiece is tailored in versions both for Apple- and Google-based tablets and has key layouts specific to each design, including shortcuts for locking the screen or media playback. Either pairs over Bluetooth and has a separate stand that both serves as a case for the keyboard and can prop up a tablet in portrait or landscape modes.


Logitech teams with ZAGG on iPad 2 Keyboard Case

iPad 2 Keyboard Case, rebranded ZAGGmate

Logitech has teamed with ZAGG on its new iPad 2 Keyboard Case. It is essentially the same as ZAGG’s own ZAGGmate, but has been rebranded and, like the ZAGGmate for iPad 2, is slightly redesigned to accommodate the different dimensions of the iPad 2. The device doubles as a protective case for transport, but quickly converts to hold the iPad 2 either horizontally or vertically, turning it into something akin to a touch-screen netbook with its embedded Bluetooth keyboard.

ZAGGmate offers protection and practicality

ZAGG has unveiled its ZAGGmate with Keyboard for the iPad. It is made from aircraft-grade aluminum giving the case strong protection, but it also incorporates a Bluetooth QWERTY keyboard for enhancing productivity on the go. The iPad can be pitched horizontally or vertically and in up to ten different viewing angles.


ZAGG adds microphone-less Z.buds, adds colors

ZAGG updates Z.buds

ZAGG has updated its Z.buds in-ear headphones, now offering a version without an integrated microphone. First introduced earlier this year at CES, the new headphone set features the same nylon cord that is designed to reduce instances of tangling and knotting. For the first time, buyers can opt for a pair of Z.buds without the inline microphone and its control button, which also lowers the price of entry.
