International version of Xperia Z1f to have Android 4.3 onboard
The rumored Sony Xperia Z1 Mini has reportedly reached the FCC for testing, as the company prepares it for launch in the US and Europe. The filing for the smaller version of the Xperia Z1, previously called the Xperia Z1S, offers little in the way of new information for the device, except that it has the model number D5503 and given the codename "Amami."
Sony Xperiz Z1 f 'mini' appears in another leak
Sony's rumored Xperia Z1 f, also referred to as the Honami mini or Z1 mini, has surfaced in yet another leak. Images of an NTT DoCoMo brochure, posted by UnwiredView add to numerous leaks and suggest Sony is nearing an official unveiling. The device is said to share many of the same features as the current Z1 flagship, but with a smaller 4.3-inch display.
Small Z1 powered by same processor
Sony's rumored 'mini' variant of its new Xperia Z1 flagship smartphone has surfaced in yet another leak. Brochure images show an "Xperia Z1 f" alongside the current model, stepping down from the 5.0-inch 1920x1080 display to a smaller 4.3-inch 1280x720 panel. Both are said to share the same quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 20.7-megapixel camera.
Sony Xperia Z1 mini leaks out in clear photo
The forthcoming, and yet to be announced, 4.3-inch Sony Xperia Z1 mini has leaked out in a clear photo. It has been pictured beside the recently announced 5-inch Xperia Z1, giving a clear impression of how the two devices differ in both size, and potentially in-hand comfort. Unlike some other 'mini' versions of flagship handsets, the Xperia Z1 mini is thought to retain the same cutting edge quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset found in the larger Xperia Z1, appealing to users who want a powerful Android handset in a smaller form factor.
