Tracking suggests iPad sales now likely over 1 million

Over 1 million iPads have already been sold, claims online advertiser Chitika. The firm cites tracking figures, which include the number of unique devices that have made contact. Distribution is said to be highest in Apple's home state of California, which represents 19.12 percent of all iPads. Share falls off rapidly elsewhere, with New York claiming the second-highest ownership at 8.3 percent. At the bottom of the top 10 states is Massachusetts with 3.05 percent.
