HTC Evo 4G Plus to be 2D cousin of Evo 3D
HTC's mystery Rider smartphone has been identified in a sighting that confirmed most of its details. The phone would virtually be a 2D adaptation of the Evo 3D with a single eight-megapixel camera in place of the twin five-megapixel sensors. PocketNow also understood it would have the same dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon, 4.3-inch, 540x960 display, and 1GB of RAM.

Samsung offers WiBro Galaxy Tab in South Korea
Samsung has released a new Galaxy Tab with WiBro in South Korea at provider KT. WiBro is technically similar to WiMax, and indicates a similar model may arrive at Sprint in the US, the only carrier to support the 4G network. In Korea, the new model is priced lower than the 3G version.

LG E-Note tablet with Windows 7 ships in Korea
The LG H1000B tablet that showed up early this month at the FCC is now shipping in Korea as the E-Note H1000B. The Windows 7-powered tablet uses a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 and has a 16GB solid state drive. The capacitive touchscreen measures 10.1 inches and has a 1366x768 resolution, with a cradle stand and a stylus included for those who need pen-based apps.

KT to bring WiBro-compatible Samsung handset
Korean wireless provider KT is planning on releasing a smartphone that supports the country's WiBro mobile broadband network, which is the equivalent of WiMAX in Korea. The smartphone will be made by Samsung and go by the SPH-M8400 model name. Other than WiBro, it will also have WCDMA (3G) network support and a Wi-Fi connection, which earns it the 3W designation from KT. The photo of the M8400 also reveals it will run on a Windows Mobile operating system.
