Nokia Lumia 1020 due on Telus, Rogers in Canada in the future

The Nokia Lumia 1020 will be heading to Canadian carriers in the near future. The phone producer's Twitter feed for Canada states that the camera, complete with its 41-megapixel rear camera, will be available to buy on both Rogers and Telus soon. Launch dates and prices for each carrier were not revealed, but should be a similar cost to that of the AT&T version, namely around $300 on a two-year contract.

Asus is bringing out two versions of the Transformer tablet running Windows 8. The Tablet 600 will be an ARM-based Windows 8 RT device, while the Tablet 810 integrates an Intel processor to power a full version of Windows 8. Both tablets will have a RAM boost compared to their Android-based counterparts, but will retain the mobile dock that converts them into small notebooks.

At the Milan Design Week, ASUS priced and dated many of its upcoming portable products for the European market, Notebook Italia learned. The Padfone will ship late in May, or about a month later than in its home market of Taiwan. Its price at a telephone operator hasn't been revealed, but the Padfone Station that includes the 32GB handset and a docking tablet that's coming in June will cost 700 euros (about $914).

It would run an online store that would carry third-party devices from companies like ASUS and Samsung, the Wall Street Journal said. A rare breakdown of tablet market share by IHS iSuppli has shown that the Kindle Fire may be doing more damage to other Android manufacturers than to Apple. Amazon was estimated to have shipped 3.9 million units in the fall, or enough to get it 14 percent of the market. While this dropped the iPad's 15.4 million units from 64 percent share to 57, other Android supporters lost over a quarter of their own share.
