Nokia may have runaway success in one country
New reports from Danish carriers have suggested that the Nokia Lumia 800 may be experiencing iPhone-like demand. Talking to Mobilesiden, local telecom leader TDC's Morten Steen Jensen claimed to have seen the same kind of demand as for the iPhone 4S. While it's not clear which phone was next, the Windows Phone sold three times as many as its next-closest counterpart. Telia had the Lumia 800 second only to the iPhone.

Cisco, Telia test 120Gbps network at DreamHack
Network gear maker Cisco and Swedish provider Telia at the DreamHack LAN event in Sweden yesterday tested their world record-setting 120Gbps Internet connection. All of the estimated 20,000 attendees were invited to test the connection, which runs the more than 186 miles between Stockholm and Jönköping. Previously, record speeds set at DreamHack were 20 gigabits.

Spotify-branded, INQ-made phone coming to Telia
Online streaming music service Spotify will soon begin offering a self-branded handset in its home country of Sweden, says a Thursday TechCrunch report. Spotify has reportedly teamed up with the country's telecommunications and cable provider, Telia, which will bring the handset and new Spotify-branded services for TV and computers.

Telia reworks iPhone plans
After hitting a steep wall of customer resistance, Telia Sweden is buckling to pressure and is offering an unlimited data plan for the iPhone, as well as allowing customers to choose between its existing voice plans. iLounge reveals that the company received an overwhelming amount of complaints after initially offering customers 100, 250, and 1000 minutes, SMS, and data on plans that ranged as high as 859 SEK per month, in addition to handsets costing as much as 3295 SEK.
