Zite Personalized Magazine hits version 2.0
iOS-based magazine app Zite saw an update today that makes the app faster and smarter than previous iterations. Version 2.0 of Zite adds a new Explore page, helping users find interesting topics. Users also can jump from topics anywhere in Zite to find related content, as well as rate stories by swiping them up or down in the iPad version. The new version expands the "Your Top Stories" feature, bringing headline news, featured topics, and popular stories in Zite, and users can now link to their Facebook accounts in order to get automatic topic suggestions. The update is available as a free download in the App Store.

New app allows iPhone to access, control Macs, PCs
TeamViewer GmbH has launched an iPhone app that allows users to remotely access the Finder view on a Mac. The screen-sharing app works in conjunction with the company's desktop software which provides a unique password. Entering the info into the iPhone app allows users to access the desktop interface via any Internet connection such as Wi-Fi, 3G or EDGE.

TeamViewer Manager
TeamViewer has released its add-on database tool, TeamViewer Manager for Mac, geared for large companies or call centers. The software provides tools to help users manage their partners in an arranged database, while storing client information in files and folders. The database can also be shared over a network with other supporters. For future reference, users can record and save the start and finish times for each session, along with information detailing which supporters completed the sessions.
