LG has teased that it could be showing off as many as four new smartphones at Mobile World Congress next week. A teaser video on YouTube shows a number of references to the word "Tag", as well as highlighting specific letters in words: The V in "The View," the L in "The Style," the F in "The Freedom", and the G in "The Greatness."
Blackout 2.0 (free) is a utility that can dim a scree regardless of the monitors current hardware or gamma settings. The application works by placing a transparent window over the desktop. The window provides the dimming effect and passes keystrokes and clicks through to underlying applications. Gravity Applications has launched its Tags software for the Mac. Tags make it possible for users to create keywords for files, and use these keywords to group files that have something in common, to help with organization. When applying tags, users are able to place as many different tags as they want to one file, or to apply one tag to multiple files, Tags can also be setup to launch with specific keyboard shortcuts. For more organization support, users can create smart folders and smart mailboxes.
