After a brief delay from the iTunes App Store, Spore is now available. EA Mobile had been hoping the iPhone version of its life simulation game would be available Sunday at the iTunes App Store, but was unfortunately delayed. Developer Mike Bagano told MacNN last week that he was confident the launch would happen on time -- but it appeared slightly late, arriving Monday afternoon.

EA on Friday unveiled an additional stage of Spore, it's upcoming evolutional civilization simulation, offering potential players a glimpse into the tribal stage of development in the game. During the tribal era, players focus on building up their own creatures' civilizations while either conquering or befriending those of their neighbours. Players can design the tools and buildings their civilizations build, further customizing their appearance and behaviour.
EA on Tuesday unveiled a new high-definition movie trailer of the cellular stage in Spore Ė a highly anticipated, all-encompassing simulation of evolution and civilization. The trailer shows how basic gameplay works during the entry stages of a Spore organism, illustrating the differences between jaw-bearing carnivorous entities and filter-mouthed plant feeders. It goes through several stages, from birth through to evolving the desire to come above water. Spore is expected to ship September 7th.

The Seagate 3TB class-action hard drive lawsuit has been expanded to more devices. The expanded suit, filed today, now includes Seagate's Barracuda 3TB Hard Disk Drive,¬†Desktop HDD 3TB, Backup Plus 3TB External Hard Disk¬†Drive,¬†GoFlex 3TB External Hard Disk Drive, or any other Seagate hard drive with model number ST3000DM001. The law firm, Hagens Berman, is seeking information from consumers such as time in service, purchase price, and the nature of any drive received in return from Seagate as a replacement for a failed unit. http://bit.ly/1Pc34Cq
