IK Multimedia mount adds to microphone stand
Two manufacturers have brought out their latest offerings for (respectively) the iPad and the iPhone. G-Form has launched its next-generation Extreme Sleeve 2 for iPad, a super-touch case that offers distinguished protection from drops or shocks. Meanwhile, IK Multimedia has announced its new iPhone mount for musicians, the iKlip Mini, which mounts any iPhone or iPod touch on a microphone stand.

Two new protective iPad cases
Marware has introduced two new products in its line of iPad cases, the Eco-Envi and Sportfolio Bandit. Eco-Envi is an environmentally-friendly protective sleeve made from RoHS-compliant leather. It is designed to guard the iPad from scrapes or scratches, with a fleece interior for screen protection. The style of the case is made to resemble a large envelope, keeping the iPad in place via a Velcro flap. Eco-Envi also comes backed by a lifetime warranty and is available in either black or white colors.

Sleeves made from hemp, use fleece liners
ColcaSac has expanded its series of protective cases beyond just MacBook offerings, with several new sleeves designed for the iPad, iPhone and iPods. The company delivers handmade sleeves and cases using environmentally friendly fabrics such as jute and hemp, considered to be stronger than cotton. The sleeves use polyester Sherpa fleece for the interior lining, protecting the device from scratches while adding cushioning.

New protective iPad sleeve and cases
Long Live Books and Philips have already expanded their range of accessories for the iPad. Philips has introduced several new products, ranging from protective cases to audio devices. A soft reversible sleeve protects the device from bumps and scratches, offering either a red or black exterior depending on which side the user chooses. The second iPad guard is a soft neoprene and leatherette case utilizing a fold-over flap to help keep the iPad in place. The leatherette material also provides extra protection for the glass screen.

CF Formula iPhone case, iPad sleeve
InnoPocket, Booq, and Cocoon Innovations have all announced new accessories for the iPhone and iPad. InnoPocket’s CF Formula series is an iPhone case featuring carbon-fiber construction. It features a clip-on design and fully guards the back and sides of the handset from scrapes or scratches. The case measures just 0.9mm thick and weighs roughly 8 grams, while providing full access to all ports and controls.

Leather Cover guard front and back of iPad
iLuv, Scosche and Tumbuk2 have introduced a variety of accessories for Apple’s iPad, ranging from sleeves and cases to protective film. iLuv has unveiled six new case designs including a flip-open Leather Cover available in black or pink, as well as a soft Casual Fabric Case which comes in three different colors and features a strap that goes around the outside. For an almost transparent look, the company is offering the Ultra Thin clear case that protects the back and sides of the iPad and comes with a screen film.

SleeveCase, Natural Linen sleeves for MacBooks
Wrappers and WaterField Designs have announced new laptop sleeves, the custom-fitted SleeveCase and Natural Linen series, for Apple’s unibody MacBooks. The SleeveCase, which is made by WaterField, is designed for 13.3-inch MacBooks and features a ballistic nylon outer shell, 6mm neoprene interior for increased shock resistance, and a small flap across the middle to keep the laptop in place. It is TSA compliant for traveling through airports, while a bottom loop is designed to help users pull the notebook out of the case.

LArobe Netbook sleeves
Be.ez has launched the LArobe Netbook sleeves, a new line of protection sleeves designed to fit a variety of 10.2-inch and 8.9-inch netbooks. FELTtech laptop sleeves
Kena Kai has announced FELTtech sleeves, a new line of laptop sleeves made from a fiber that's been created from 100-percent recycled Polyethylene Perepthalate (PET) bottles and containers. Designed initially for 13.3-inch Netbooks and 15.4-inch notebook computers, each sleeve features a wide easy-access zippered opening, and 4mm of cushioned protection to guard against scratches and scrapes. Kena Kai notebook sleeves
Design company Kena Kai has begun shipping leather "Inter-Departmental Mail" computer sleeves for the 13.3-inch Macbooks and ultra-portable notebooks with screen sizes of 10 inches or less. The white exterior resembles the type of mail envelope used by Steve Jobs for the introduction of the MacBook Air. The design includes embossing on the face, and a string closure. The thin leather offers basic protection so a device can be carried in a bag that is not be dedicated to computer protection.

Marware Sportfolio for MBA
Marware on Thursday unveiled the Sportfolio sleeve for the MacBook Air, offering users a padded neoprene protection solution for their ultraportables. The handle-bearing sleeve has plastic inserts to protect against impact, and includes stretchy exterior pockets, while the interior is concealed with dual, lined zippers. Leather product manufacturer Vaja today unveiled three new cases for the iPhone, MacBook Air, and iPod nano. The Retro Slim Bag for iPhone is a sleeve-style case that features an open top, but completely covers the rest of the device. It is available in blue with a beige vertical stripe, but as with any Vaja product, can be configured with any color, starting at $40. A similar sleeve for the MacBook Air is also available, except with a closing flap, for $180.

StrapWrap device case
DLO today unveiled the StrapWrap, a universal neoprene case designed to attach to almost any bag strap so that users can keep iPods, cellphones or other digital devices close by. The sleeve features an extra-wide Velcro fastener that keeps devices securely fastened to a strap, with padded neoprene covering most of the inserted device. DLO is shipping the StrapWrap currently for $20; it is available from most nationwide retailers.

UK-based Wrappers recently unveiled four new sleeves for the MacBook Air, offered in a number of different patterns and materials. The cases are constructed from various materials, such as linen, canvas, microfibre, and sensory fabric. The Shiny Sleeve has a waterproof, stain-resistant polyurethane shell, and uses a tear-proof lining to protect the MacBook Air.
