Home stereo units come in all sorts of sizes: from large combo units that tie into home theater systems to small head units that focus on doing the minimum, there are a lot of options to choose from. Accessory developer Pure has taken the simple, only-what-you-need approach in its latest offering to bring a number of audio options to consumers . The Pure Evoke F4 brings FM and Internet radio to the party, but it also has the added bonus of working with SiriusXM for subscribers. Will simple design and Internet based audio options be enough to pull in consumers looking for a new unit, or will the system merely be another gadget that won't see much use?
The rumored Sony Xperia D6503 "Sirius" smartphone has allegedly leaked in a new video walkthrough, showing a number of features of the device. Specifications for another Sony device has also surfaced ahead of Mobile World Congress, with the Xperia Z2 tablet, codenamed "Castor," claimed to have a 10.1-inch Triluminos display with a resolution of 1920x1200.
In a similar manner to a recent Samsung leak, images of what are claimed to be the user interface of an upcoming Sony smartphone have surfaced. Claimed to be taken from the codenamed Sirius device, the screenshots apparently show that the device being used is capable of recording video at a 4K resolution, along with an answering machine function built into the device itself, instead of relying on a carrier.
Photographs of what is thought to be Sony's follow-up to the Xperia Z1 have surfaced. The pictured smartphone, said to have the model number D6503, could possibly be the codenamed "Sirius" device that is rumored to be launched at Mobile World Congress next month, though it could possibly be another variant on the Xperia Z1 alongside the Xperia Z1 Mini.
Sony could be preparing to unveil a new flagship smartphone in the next month, according to a rumor. The codename "Sirius" device is tipped to be launched at Mobile World Congress in February, though it is possible that another device, a high-end tablet codenamed the Sony "Castor" could also make an appearance at the Barcelona-based trade show.
Nokia has issued an unusual teaser for its forthcoming Nokia World event scheduled for October 22 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Pictured appears to be to the previously leaked Nokia Lumia 2520 6-inch Windows Phone phablet and the similarly leaked Windows RT 8.1 tablet codenames known as the Sirius. Also pictured, intriguingly, is a notebook – it could be a literal representation of the ad copy, which reads ‘Watch the action on your screen of choice,’ or a reference to Nokia’s upcoming acquisition by Microsoft and an acknowledgement of the close integration of its devices and Microsoft’s Windows empire.
The long-rumored tablet from Nokia has been spotted again, this time going through FCC certification. A filing at the commission for the Nokia RX-114 shows that the company is still working on a tablet, complete with LTE support for Verizon. T-Mobile, and AT&T, as well as GSM/Edge and HSPA+ support, and suggests that a launch could be around the corner.
Nokia is holding an event on October 22, which is expected to be the launch of the six-inch Lumia 1520 and possibly the 'Sirius' tablet as well. The event itself is believed to have been delayed from a late-September launch, though it is reported that the original plans were pushed back due to the announced acquisition by Microsoft.
More details for Nokia's rumored 10.1-inch "Sirius" tablet have surfaced, including a much clearer image of the supposed device, as well as its clean design lines. The full-size Windows RT slate, still yet to be confirmed by Nokia itself, has already reportedly been shown in leaks, and is said to be heading for launch on September 26th in an event in New York.
