iScrapBox 1.0 ships
Chronos has launched iScrapBox 1.0, an artwork management program for digital scrapbookers. The software allow users to browse collections, called iScrapKits, and then launch the image or artwork into a scrapbook application like iScrapbook or into Photoshop for editing. iScrapBox supports click-to-purchase buying of iScrapKits on iScarpbook.com and has numerous searching features for finding specific art. It can search images and kits based on keywords assigned to the art, search for dominant or secondary colors in the artwork and can filter images by artist, image type and color.

MemoryMixer 2 update
Lasting Impressions for Paper recently unveiled MemoryMixer 2, an update to its user-friendly scrapbook software. Designed with novice users in mind, MemoryMixer 2 introduces a number of new features, such as cropping and zooming, as well as visual effects like sepia toning. The update includes over 400 digital backgrounds in square, portrait, and landscape orientation, with nature, metal, pattern, and texture designs, and comes with more than 1200 embellishments, ranging from ribbons and braids, to definitions and flourishes. Lasting Impressions is selling the software for $80, and is available from many online and retail stores, including the Apple store.

iScrapbook retail box
Chronos today announced the availability of a retail-boxed version iScrapbook – its digital scrapbooking application – at Apple retail stores nationwide. Originally available as a stand-alone DVD and a direct download, iScrapbook allows users to design and print scrapbooks. The app comes with the SOHO Art Pack for no additional cost, a collection of 40,000+ designer-quality photographs, object photos, and vector-based clip-art. The iScrapbook retail version is available from the Apple retail store for $55.
