Datamator 1.5 now CS3/CS4, After Effects compatible

Datamator 1.5 update

Red Giant Software has released Datamator 1.5, a set of eight plug-ins for integrating chart and graph animations into news programs and corporate videos. Datamator enables users to create 3D content, with controls for several parameters including built-in cameras, lighting and rotation. The charts and graphs can be configured with customized colors, typefaces, grids, legends and labels. Users can also create alpha channels or choose from a variety presets.

Red Giant Trapcode Horizon

Red Giant Software on Wednesday unveiled updates to two of its products, while also introducing a new plug-in for Adobe After Effects called Trapcode Horizon. The new plug-in allows users to generate three-dimensional effects to create photorealistic backgrounds and QuickTime VR-like panoramas. Red Giant Software claims Horizon ties automatically into the software's 3D camera, ensuring that the background image is drawn from the active camera's point of view. Trapcode Horizon is selling for $100, available from the company's website.
