Readdle has launched ReaddleDocs for iPad 1.5, an update to the document management iPad app, while Mekentosj BV has updated its PDF app, Papers 1.8. ReaddleDocs allows iPad users to view and manage documents, open large PDFs, launch links, extract text, search content, or open protected files. It also allows the iPad to behave like a wireless flash drive, making it possible to wirelessly copy files from a Mac or PC to the iPad. Users can access iDisk, Dropbox and Google Docs, along with some NAS drives. In addition to PDFs, ReaddleDocs can also read iWork content or Office documents created in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
