Convert DVD and Blu-ray movies
Pavtube Studio has added to its line of video conversion software with the release of iMedia Converter for Mac. The program works as an audio and video conversion tool capable of ripping DVD and Blu-ray movies. The conversion process is claimed to maintain all aspects of a movie including commentary, menus, titles and ads. When working with high-definition videos, users can compress or recode the data into other formats without losing HD resolution. Support is also included for recorded TiVo shows and animated GIF images.
Converts, edits, watermarks MOD files
Pavtube Studio has launched its self-titled video converter for .MOD movie files recorded with JVC, Sony, Panasonic and Canon devices. The utility can produce MP4, 3GP, AVI, MPG, MPEG-4, FLV, MOV, 3G2 and VOB files from MOD originals. It has only a light effect on video quality and is claimed to properly sync audio. MP4 compatibility allows users to convert MOD files for editing in Final Cut Pro or iMovie. It can compress, trim, crop, watermark or add special effects to the output videos.
FLV converter ships
Pavtube Studio has launched Pavtube FLV Converter for Mac 1.0, allowing for Flash video conversion to a variety of other video formats. The new converter works with FLV and F4V flash movies, converting them into iPod, iPhone, mobile phone and Apple TV capable formats like MP4, 3GP, MOV, MKV and MP3, among others.
