Sony NXT phones now in the US as unlocked devices

Sony will soon begin selling its NXT range of smartphones as unlocked devices in the US. The line-up is made up of the Xperia U, Xperia S and Xperia P. Buyers will be capable of picking them up in Sony stores and online at Newegg and other online retailers. The unlocked Xperia S and Xperia P supports 850, 900, 1,900, and 2,100MHz bands while the Xperia U gets 850, 1,900, and 2,100MHz bands, making them suitable for AT&T's networks and its subsidiaries.

TEAC intros 2.1-channel iPod docking station

TEAC iPod docking station

TEAC Japan has recently introduced a 2.1-channel home stereo system, the TD-X300i, which includes an iPod dock and CD drive, as well as built-in AM/FM radio tuner with 10 station presets. The system will play back MP3-encoded CD-Rs and CD-RWs via its flat-panel, NXT speakers. The subwoofer has a 4-inch diameter and is rated at 15W, while each speaker is rated at 5W of power.
