Mark/Space has released a Mac version of The Missing Sync for Palm Pre, along with a Windows Vista and XP version currently in progress. Previously launched as a beta, the synchronization software allows mobile phone users to share information such as contacts, calendars, photos and music between the Mac and Palm Pre. The application enables automatically syncing when near a Mac via Wi-Fi, or can transfer files and documents with a USB cable [full story]

Mark/Space has released The Missing Sync beta for the Palm Pre, along with a Windows version for the iPhone firmware 2.0. The company has also prepared its Fliq iPhone apps for the firmware 3.0 update and the 3G S handset. The Missing Sync for the Pre allows users to sync data, such as iCal or Entourage, between a Mac and the smartphone. The service also works when the Pre is placed on the Touchstone charger. Mark/Space has released version 2.0 updates for Fliq Notes and Fliq Docs on the iTunes App Store, adding support for two-way syncing of notes, documents and files with both Macs and PCs. Fliq Notes can sync notes on the iPhone with a desktop using Microsoft Outlook or Entourage, Bare Bones Yojimbo, or Mark/Space Notebook. Fliq Docs can sync documents between the iPhone and a Mac or Windows computer, supporting Word files, PDFs, photos, videos and music files. [full story]

Mark/Space on Thursday launched Fliq, a social networking application for Mac. Fliq allows users to transfer photos, contacts and notes to other members on the same network. Previously only available on the iPhone, the Mac version integrates Address Book and iPhoto content for additional capabilities. A drag function can be used to move text and images from anywhere on the computer and then drop the items directly into the Fliq window. [full story]

Mark/Space on Tuesday unveiled support for the BlackBerry Bold smartphone in its connectivity software, The Missing Sync for BlackBerry. The company illustrates that The Missing Sync now allows users to synchronize contacts, calendars, Entourage data, iTunes playlists, iPhoto albums and more with the BlackBerry Bold 9000 series handsets. Mark/Space on Thursday unveiled a new product for Windows that allows iPhone users to transfer contacts and calendar information from most BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and Palm OS devices, as well as select units from Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Motorola that use the Symbian OS. Mark/Space today released The Missing Sync for iPhone 1.0.1 alongside an updated version of SyncTogether. The Missing Sync for iPhone allows users to quickly load and archive data on an iPhone. The software supports syncing calendar, contacts, photos, and more from another cellular handset to an iPhone while allowing usrs to archive SMS messages as well as call logs and notes. Mark/Space today released SyncTogether 1.0.2, an update to the software that synchronizes various types of data with multiple Macs. The latest release brings compatibility for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, allowing users of Apple's latest operating system to take advantage of SyncTogether's features. Mark/Space released an update to The Missing Sync for Palm OS 6.0.2, adding Mac OS X Leopard compatibility and a few additional compatibility elements, while the company assures SyncTogether customers that they will have a working version for Leopard users soon. The Missing Sync for Palm OS is now functioning properly on Apple's new operating system, and it now works with Palm's Centro to provide two-way synchronization of data. The contact and calendar syncing has also been revamped. New users can obtain The Missing Sync for Palm OS for $40 as a download, or $50 for a CD-ROM version. [full story]

Mark/Space recently announced some Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard compatibility updates and betas of its various incarnations of Missing Sync, as well as a new online support service. After a self-imposed formal commitment to Leopard compatibility, final versions are available for Missing Sync for BlackBerry and Missing Sync for Sony PSP, with Leopard-savvy betas available for Missing Sync for Palm OS and Missing Sync for Windows Mobile. Mark/Space notes, however, that SyncTogether has not been optimized for Apple's newest operating system, and they advise against using the app under that condition.
