Auction house to sell Mac Plus owned by Gene Roddenberry

A company called Profiles in History has announced plans to auction off a unique model of the Macintosh Plus, originally built in 1986. The unit was given by Apple to Gene Roddenberry, the creator of Star Trek and Star Trek: The Next Generation. It is also the first official production model of the computer, stamped with the serial number F4200NUM0001.
