Macgamestore.com has announced its Indie Mac Bundle promotion, a ten-game collection variety of independently-produced games available for 80 percent off their original prices. The Indie Mac Bundle includes Lilly Looking Through, Type:Rider, Journey of a Roach, Knock-Knock, PixelJunk Monsters, Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien, Doorways, Luxuria Superbia, The Few and Avadon. UbiSoft has released an update to its stealth-based action game, Assassin's Creed 2 Deluxe Edition. Two new adventure games for Mac
Macgamestore.com has announced that Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars – Director’s Cut and Broken Sword II: The Smoking Mirror are now available for the Mac. Originally released in 1996, Broken Sword follows journalist Nico Collard and George Stobbart as they are thrown into a dangerous conspiracy full of murder and intrigue. In the Director’s Cut two additional hours of gameplay have been added, along with new facial expressions, enhanced audio, and new first person perspective minigames. Also incorporated is a new help system to provide assistance when necessary.
Secrets of the Dragon Wheel, Mirror Mysteries
Macgamestore.com has announced two new mystery games, Secrets of the Dragon Wheel and Mirror Mysteries. Secrets of the Dragon Wheel follows Epiphany O’day who has just been laughed out of her university for her wild theories on the ancient and mysterious Dragon Wheel Artifact, but must now help her mentor Professor Lunn who has unlocked dark forces from the artifact. During the game players must find hidden objects, solve puzzles, and overcome other various obstacles while traveling from Paris to the far-east.
Travel through lost cities and ancient tombs
Macgamestore.com has introduced Torchlight, a new adventure game where players try to save the world from a dark evil. The game takes place in the mining settlement of Torchlight, where a corrupted rare and mysterious ore called Ember has brought evil creatures and destruction to the town. Players must take the role of one of three characters in an attempt to remove the source of evil from the Ember, and venture through lost cities and ancient tombs to do so.
Two new strategy games for Mac
Macgamestore.com has introduced two new strategy games, Blooming Daisies and Many Years Ago. Blooming Daisies follows a recognized botanist named Daisy, who has inherited a botanical garden from her grandfather. The object of the game is to grow plants that will attract visitors, than design and build a park using statues, fountains, and paved pathways. Players can customize the cost of entering the park and of goods sold inside, as well as earn certificates for accomplishing certain tasks.
New hidden-object game takes place in Wild West
Macgamestore.com and Awem Studio have both announced new games for the Mac, Golden Trails: The New Western Rush and Eternity. Golden Trails is the newest hidden-object game from Awem Studio, in which bandits have robbed the bank in provincial Sunnyvale, and now both the player and Sheriff Jack must team up in order to solve the case. The game contains over 32 Wild West locations, five different maps, and dozens of characters to interact with. Several awards can also be earned throughout the game, and posted on the user’s Awem profile.
Eschalon: Book II adds weather effects, features
Macgamestore.com has introduced two new Mac-based games, Eschalon: Book II and Vampireville. Eschalon: Book II is a sequel to the Eschalon: Book role playing game where players journey across the land in an attempt to uncover secrets from the past and discover who is threatening all of Eschalon. With this latest release several new features have been introduced into the game, such as added weather effects, new skills and skill balancing capabilities, and improved equipment configuration options.
New puzzle and adventure games
Macgamestore has announced two new games, Strange Cases: The Tarot Card Mystery and Secret Missions: Mata Hari and the Kaiser’s Submarines. Strange Cases is a new hidden-object game where players take control of the FBI agent Claire Ellery, as she investigates a case of three young girls being kidnapped. The player receives tarot cards throughout the game that help guide the investigation, and are presented with a wide range of puzzles, mini-games, and hidden objects to uncover.
New match-3 puzzle games
Macgamestore.com has introduced two new games, Travels with Gulliver and Mean Girls. Travels with Gulliver is a new match-3 puzzle game that has players travel the world with Sedona and her book club, as they follow the path of Gulliver. The game contains 87 match-3 levels, seven jigsaw puzzles, and seven unlock-able wallpapers. During the game players can also collect a variety of postcards and passport stamps from places they visit while following the path of Gulliver.
Bonus Hansel and Gretal adventure included
Macgamestore.com has announced two new games for the Mac, Fiction Fixers: Adventures in Wonderland Premium Edition, and Pet Pals: New Leash On Life. In Fiction Fixers, players are in charge of protecting famous works of literature, starting with the Adventures in Wonderland. Included in the game are a variety of hidden objects to find and puzzles to solve as well mini-games to accomplish. Fifty-two collectable playing cards can be earned within the game and up to six achievements can be locked. Aside from the main game users also receive the Hansel and Gretal bonus adventure.
New hidden-object and time-management games
Macgamestore.com has announced two new games, Mishap: An Accidental Haunting and Megaplex Madness: Summer Blockbuster. Mishap: An Accidental Haunting is a new hidden-object game where players must rid a house of all its ghosts by uncovering their secrets. The game delivers over 30 different rooms, each with their own items to find and clues to uncover. Each of the ghost’s tales are presented through a series of in-game comics, and every final confrontation with a ghost is done so through a mini-game showdown.
Game features 100 World War II era aircraft
Macgamestore has released Warbirds: Dogfights for the Mac. The game features aerial dogfight action in a World War II setting. A number of pivotal WWII air battles are played out over Europe and the Pacific. Players fly as either Allied or Axis fighters in over 100 different WWII aircraft. It also offers access to one month of free playing time on the WarBirds online multiplayer service.
KrissX puzzle game with unlockable levels

Cake Shop 2 is a sequel to the time-management game that requires players to take control of a cake shop manager who is trying to develop a profitable business. Players fill orders for products such as cake, ice cream or coffee. Hidden-object game spans over 80 levels
Macgamestore.com has launched Murder, She Wrote, a new game based on the classic television show. The hidden-object mystery game allows players to take control of the murder novelist Jessica Fletcher as she attempts to solve a variety of different homicides. The game features over 25 detailed 3D settings for players to travel through, along with familiar TV show characters Seth Hazlitt and Sheriff Mort Metzger.
Based on the upcoming Shutter Island movie

The game follows US Marshal Teddy Daniels, and his partner Chuck Aule, as they try to find a patient that has escaped from the Ashecliffe Hospital for the Criminally Insane. Published by Merscom, Shutter Island is set in the 1950s and follows the same theme as the upcoming movie by Paramount Pictures.
Move around space and absorb other motes
Hemisphere Games and Macgamestore.com have announced a Mac version of the indie game Osmos. The software features physics-based gameplay and allows players to take control of a mote that must grow by absorbing other motes. Players propel themselves and move around space by ejecting matter behind them, however, by doing so, the mote loses mass and becomes more vulnerable. Players will interact with attractors, repulsors, and other intelligent motes with similar abilities and goals.
Plan It Green game ships
Macgamestore has released National Geographic's Plan It Green, a game developed by Merscom. Users serve as the mayor of Greenville, a city which must be transformed into an environmentally friendly location. Gameplay is spread across 8 neighborhoods, with 45 levels that require completion of tasks such as renovating and rebuilding houses or business fixtures. To ensure the city is improving, users can view a Greendex that tracks the environmental sustainability.
Luxor 3 released
MumboJumbo has released an update to its Mac game, Luxor 3, which features 140 new levels of gameplay. The latest version also features a new reflector to bounce the game balls on. Players can access new bonus levels that are unlocked through the course of the game. Seven different types of game modes are available, five of which are new with Luxor 3.
MonsterQuest for Mac
Macgamestore has announced MonsterQuest for the Mac, a mystery and puzzle game developed by Canopy Productions and digitalBrandplay. During play, users take control of an investigative team required to determine if monsters are real, fantasy, or a hoax. Featuring five different monster cases, players must investigate eyewitness reports, examine hundreds of clues in photo realistic environments, and go into the field in search of evidence. In order to solve the mysteries users must perform lab tests, and solve various puzzles.
Sally's Spa for Mac
Macgamestore.com has released the sequel to its Sally’s Salon game for the Mac, Sally’s Spa. In the game Sally has taken a break from the salon business and teamed up with her friend Nell, in order to begin running a spa. Featuring 10 different spas across the world, Players will have to deal with over 12 different customer types including wedding brides, couples, and high rollers, and provides nine spa services such as facials, manicure, pedicure, and hot stone messages.
Hoyle Card Games 2009

Fitness Frenzy for Mac
Macgamestore has announced Fitness Frenzy, a Gogii Games release. The game places the player in the role of a fitness trainer named Vicki, who has to inspire all sorts of people to reach their personal goals. The game stresses time-management techniques with 50 different levels of play. It features characters ranging from novices to muscle-bound weightlifters who want to reach target body weights and shapes. A demo is available for download and play, prior to purchase. Sherlock Holmes game
Macgamestore on Thursday released The Lost Cases Of Sherlock Holmes, a new title for Mac OS X from Dark Legacy Interactive. The first computer game officially licensed by the Conan Doyle Estate, players take on the role of legendary detective Sherlock Holmes and his venerable sidekick Dr Watson, sleuthing their way through 16 linked murder mysteries, against the immersive backdrop of a historically accurate Victorian London.

Escape The Museum
Gogii Games yesterday unveiled Escape The Museum on Macgamestore.com, a puzzle game from the creators of Hidden Secrets: The Nightmare. Players take the role of Susan Anderson, an employee at the National Museum of History, who brought her daughter Caitlin to work for the day. Suddenly, the museum suffers for a 7.6 magnitude earthquake, trapping both inside. Susan must solve a series of puzzles and search frantically for her daughter. Escape The Museum is available for $20.
Rainbow Web 2
Sugar Games today unveiled Rainbow Web 2, the sequel to its color-matching puzzle game. Having freed the lands of the influence of the Sorcerer Spider, players must now rid the Royal Palace of its presence. In order to clear the Spider's webs from the castle, players must match letters and colors over 82 levels to break the Spider's spell. The hidden object game is based on the famous novel by ALexander Dumas, taking place in the 19th century. Akzend for Mac
