App searches over 30,000 software titles
MacUpdate has released MacUpdate Desktop 5, an update to its software management utility. The latest version features smart scanning, enabling automatic scanning and matching for more than 30,000 software titles. The user interface has been redesigned to be cleaner and easier to use, while users can download and install updates with a single click.

MacUpdate holiday promo
MacUpdate has unveiled its latest software bundle, a special holiday promotion that includes ten software titles, normally priced at $450 separately, into a holiday-promotion bundle that will be sold for $50 through December 18th. Customers who purchase or gift three bundles will receive a fourth package for free. The first 5000 purchases will include an 11th title, iDive.

MacUpdate software bundle
Longtime Mac OS software supplier MacUpdate on Wednesday unveiled its new Back-To-School-themed bundle, featuring 10 software titles normally priced at $600 separately, available for $50. MacUpdate is offering all purchasers of the bundle access to seven of the titles initially, with three subsequent applications to follow. Customers who are among the first to purchase the bundle will receive a bonus mystery app, but MacUpdate would not immediately reveal its nature.
