"Empires:" Asian Dynasties
Macsoft has announced Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties," the second expansion pack for its combat strategy game. Asian Dynasties adds new single-player “campaigns,” additional game modes, civilizations and technologies. Players command one of three Asian civilizations: the Chinese, Indians or Japanese. Each civilization has unique armies and cultures. Scenarios are based on historical events, as well as new original stories.

Unreal Tournament 3
MacSoft today announced that Unreal Tournament 3 for Mac is coming early next year. Licensed by Midway Home Entertainment and developed by Epic Games, Unreal Tournament 3 delivers "the most frantic gameplay and stunning visuals yet in the award-winning Unreal series," as well as new vehicles, new weapons, and the deepest single-player campaign in the series to date. The title is being developed on the industry's leading engine, the Unreal Engine 3, and is scheduled for shipment in early 2008.

Tradewinds Legends retail
MacSoft today unveiled a retail boxed version of Tradewinds Legends for the Mac, a game that revolves around a fantasy far-eastern ship-faring theme. Previously only available as a download, over seven million people have downloaded the game. Tradewinds Legends puts players in the role of an enterprising captain, choosing from one of five pre-made characters, or designing their own. Players then travel the 10 kingdoms, solving over 100 tasks, and trading and fighting legendary heroes like Sinbad. MacSoft is selling Tradewinds Legends for $20, and is available in retail stores nationwide.
