Phone headset maker Jabra has recently announced the upcoming release of its latest Bluetooth headset, the GO 6400-series, on which it partnered up with Synaptics. The collaboration results in the headset lacking any form of traditional buttons, relying instead on the latter's capacitive touch technology. The headset uses the touch controls for its volume adjustments and microphone muting. [full story]

Jabra on Monday added a new Bluetooth earpiece to its roster with a company-first display. On the side of the BT2080 is a set of LED lights that provide a quick view of both the headset's remaining battery life as well as whether or not it's successfully paired with a phone or other device. Intelligent button placement is also touted as a virtue, as the answer/end button is located well away from the power and volume controls. [full story]

Jabra has unveiled its newest Bluetooth device, the SP200, its latest speakerphone. Building off the Jabra SP700, the SP200 is designed to attach to a car visor and provide hands-free talking. The devices comes with noise reduction and echo cancellation technology, is capable of offering up to 10 hours of talk time, and has a standby time of roughly 23 days. Bluetooth headset maker Jabra on Tuesday announced the launch of a pair of multi-use headsets with the M5390 USB and BT530 USB. Either can pair up with up to eight devices including cell phones and Internet-connected PCs for VoIP or soft-phone use. Additionally, both can pair up to two devices simultaneously, allowing users to answer the device that is ringing. Users can answer either their cellphone or a PC-based VoIP call thanks to the included USB dongle. [full story]

GN on Tuesday announced its newest Jabra headset, the BT4010, which is a Bluetooth headset with an integrated LCD display. What the company calls a Smart Display, the small LCD provides information on the headset's battery charge level as well as connection and call status.
