Kickstarter campaign aims for Bluetooth speaker for iOS devices
CubEdge is running a Kickstarter campaign aimed at getting funding for the production of an eco-friendly, wireless Bluetooth speaker. All of the major components in the Edge.sound are biodegradable, and CubEdge offers solar energy options to power the device. The Edge.sound is Bluetooth-enabled, enabling it to connect to iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, as well as other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Enables users to have deals pushed out to them
Google has just released Google Offers as a new discrete mobile Android app (free, Android Market). The choice lets an Android owner get daily and localized deal notifications pushed out to them without having to use a more generalized or limited app like Shopper or Wallet. They can also use the app to organize and redeem deals directly.

Google Shopper iPhone update adds Offers support
Google picked late afternoon to post a major update to Google Shopper on the iPhone (App Store). The revamp brings it up to the Android version and can look for Google Offers based on location, complete with a map to show them and help get directions. A My Offers tab also lets users check deals they've flagged and check them based on how soon they expire as well as ones they've recently used.

Google, Ingenico team up on NFC gear, software
Ingenico, a French maker of digital payment terminals for retailers, has recently announced it will partner with Google on bringing Near Field Communications (NFC) applications and terminals for retailers. At the same time, Ingenico's CEO Phillippe Lazare said Google can deliver coupons to a phone using the NFC standard when they simply enter a store. In some cases, users can get the discount upon checking out during that same visit.
