User management functionality expanded
CrushFTP has released an update to its self-titled FTP software. Version 5.0.3 offers improved user-management functionality and options for consolidating multiple Virtual File Systems. SSH port forwarding has been added, along with support for additional FTP servers when acting as a FTP Proxy/Protocol Translator.

CrushFTP 4.9.6 ships
CrushFTP has updated its webserver technology, releasing CrushFTP 4.9.6, improving the overall speed of the software's server and fixing a bug in the software's WebDAV client that crashed Mac OS X 10.5's Finder. SFTP (Secure FTP) connections are faster in version 4.9.6 and directory deletions can be done all at once, instead of line-by-line. In addition to the WedDAV bugfix, there are numerous other fixes in 4.9.6, including a bug with folders that had a double space in them with a FTP proxy, a fix for GUI sizing in the preference window and a repair for problems with Active Directory style domains and usernames.

CrushFTP 4.6 released
CrushFTP.com has released the latest version of its file transfer utility, CrushFTP 4.6. The update adds automated server alerts for messages like low disk space, user bans, and exceeding a threshhold. The latest release also adds support for maximum upload file sizes, maximum download amounts per session/day/month, MagicDirectory plug-in enhancements, and better support for foreign characters from Windows XP. CrushFTP 4.6 is priced from $30 for new customers, with updates available for free to existing 4.x users.
