SmartSound Software announces new soundtrack creation plug-in for Final Cut Pro X

SmartSound Software has announced a new plug-in for Final Cut Pro X, offering custom music creation like soundtracks. Designed to take advantage of Final Cut Pro X's new Generator technology, Sonicfire Pro 5's new direct access to the Final Cut timeline, providing an efficient workflow. Users can drag a SmartSound Music Placeholder from the Generators section onto the FCPX timeline where music needs to be added, and extend it to the desired length.

Factory FX has released FrostyGlass, a set of eight fully-customizable plugins for Final Cut Pro X that aim to enhance a project by simulating glass distortions. Including a filter effect and a theme and title generator, FrostyGlass creates glass distortion on top of one's video project.

Title generator for Final Cut Pro X released

CineFlare has announced its release of its new titling plugin for Final Cut Pro X, Cine Text. Offering a new set of 20 custom-made title effects for Final Cut, users can customize and stack multiple generators on the timeline to create attractive-looking titles. Cine Text features parameter controls for each title animation that allow the user to allow incoming and outgoing animation of each title (and both can be turned off if preferred).

CrumplePop intros ColorKit Suite

AKVIS has announced that full CS6 support has been added to five of its plug-ins, Retoucher 5.5, Coloriage 8.5, HDRFactory 2.5, NatureArt 4.5, and MakeUp 2.5. Support has also been integrated for the upcoming Photoshop Elements 11, and a number of bugs have been resolved in the standalone versions of each app. Upgrades are free for existing users, while full licenses range in price from $39 to $87.
