Video import device manufacturer Elgato has announced a Lightning connector version of its EyeTV Mobile product. Using the same enclosure as the original EyeTV Mobile, the new model eliminates the need and expense of a 30-pin to Lightning connector adapter and connects directly the the new lineup of compatible iOS devices.
Elgato has brought its latest digital TV tuners to the iPhone, iPad and Android devices with two new mobile solutions for watching TV on the go. The new EyeTV Mobile is designed for iOS devices with its 30-pin dock connector, while the EyeTV Micro uses a microUSB connection to connect to most Android smartphones and tablets. The EyeTV Micro also has the added benefit of being compatible with notebooks and desktop PCs.
