Samsung hopes to attract potential DSLR buyers with EX2F compact
Samsung just took the wraps off a new high-end compact camera, the EX2F. It has a 12.4-megapixel, backside-illuminated CMOS sensor and an integrated 24mm zoom lens with an f-stop of 1.4, letting Samsung lay claim to the lowest in the industry.
The camera, which supercedes the company's EX1/TL500 model, also touts the ability to shoot 1080p, 30fps HD video shooting and simultaneous still photos shooting. There is also a 3-inch AMOLED display that swivels out.
