Samsung has put two compact cameras on sale in the US. Both the MV900F Smart and the previously-seen EX2F Smart are Wi-Fi enabled cameras and are similar in many respects, but while one prioritizes a lower price-point and higher resolution sensor, the other is claimed to have the lowest f-stop of a compact camera currently on the market.
Samsung just took the wraps off a new high-end compact camera, the EX2F. It has a 12.4-megapixel, backside-illuminated CMOS sensor and an integrated 24mm zoom lens with an f-stop of 1.4, letting Samsung lay claim to the lowest in the industry. The camera, which supercedes the company's EX1/TL500 model, also touts the ability to shoot 1080p, 30fps HD video shooting and simultaneous still photos shooting. There is also a 3-inch AMOLED display that swivels out.
