New particle system allows for easier environmental effect application
E-on Software today announced the formal unveiling of its upcoming Vue 11 product line, scheduled for release in November. The company is offering professional users under a maintenance contract a download of the pre-release version of Vue 11 xStream and Infinite, the latest production-driven version of its professional solutions for the creation, animation and rendering of natural 3D environments.

Faster computation and rendering
E-on has released an update to its 3D Digital Nature software, Vue. Version 8.4 brings a variety of improvements and new features, including faster computation and rendering of displaced materials on standard terrains. The utility also integrates a new multi-materials function, allowing users to change all materials of an object in a single operation. The multi-materials can then be saved for future use, or copied between different objects in a scene.

E-on Software Vue 7 PLE
E-on Software has announced Vue 7 PLE, a free Personal Learning Edition of its Vue 7 xStream and Vue 7 Infinite software. The programs are designed to create, animate, render and integrate realistic and natural environments in 3ds Max, Maya, LightWave, Cinema 4D and XSI. With the Vue 7 PLE, users will receive fully-functional versions of both software’s which enables them to create projects, to render either stills or animations with no size or length limit, and the exporting of their finished work to other applications.
