Google has updated its Maps service in Europe to include directions and turn-by-turn navigation for cyclists. The update, according to a company blog post, includes new directions for Germany, France, Poland, Ireland, Luxembourg, and Lichtenstein. Cycling directions through the service usually provides routes that use official cycle lanes, and with the new countries, Google has teamed up with a number of cycling organizations to supplement its own data as well as information supplied through Google Map Maker.
