Pooch clustering software adds Snow Leopard support

Software can launch some applications on clusters

Dauger Research has announced Pooch and Pooch Pro 1.8 with new support for Snow Leopard. The clustering software provides a graphical user interface for its supercomputer-compatible parallel computing utiliities. Version 1.8 can configure, manage, monitor and maintain Mac clusters (also Linux clusters) and uses technology like BSD-standard sockets for communications, POSIX-standard paths for file access, and Apple's open source mDNS library.
