08/29, 5:25pm

Coder made $55,000 in donations

Nicholas "Comex" Allegra will abandon his jailbreaking efforts as he joins Apple as an intern, a Q&A session reveals. The coder was responsible for JailbreakMe, which allows people to open up iOS via the web instead of dedicated software tools. Allegra explains, in fact, that he hopes other hackers will continue to find exploits so he can jailbreak his iPhone, and that he is handing his resources over to MuscleNerd, chpwn or someone else willing to take care of them.
