Behringer is demonstrating the first-ever AirPlay system that allows users to combine new and legacy components into one IP-based wireless central command at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The Omni System features the Omni Amp receiver amplifier, Omni Link adapter, subwoofer, wireless speakers and AirPlay technology that enables consumers to bridge the gap between new and legacy electronic components from multiple manufacturers.
Behringer announced today the availability of its Xenyx Q Series USB mixers, bringing a wide range of USB functionalities to consumers at an affordable price. The Q Series comes in configurations ranging from five to 24 inputs, featuring microphone preamps for ultra-low noise, high headroom operation. Select models also have switchable phantom power plus dedicated "wireless-ready" integration that will make them compatible with Behringer's forthcoming ULM series of wireless microphones.
Behringer has taken the wraps of its iNuke Boom Junior for legacy iOS devices. The device is a scaled down version of its one-off, 10,000-Watt iNuke Boom that raised eyebrows earlier this year at CES and had to be transported on the back of a truck. Behringer claim that the three-way active design delivers Ďconcert-quality soundí with enough power for parties.
Just ahead of the NAMM show, Behringer has introduced three new Xenyx-series mixers that are meant to integrate Apple's iPad into the process. The small format mixers all sport an iPad dock that allows for two-way communication between the mixer and iPad. They have a stereo USB audio interface that connects to a Windows or Mac OS X computer for recording as well.
Behringer has expanded its audio products to include a wide range of consumer models, including the Soundscape Air dock for the iPhone and iPods. Electronista took a close look at the new dock at a special event at CES, where many companies showed off their latest accessories for iOS devices.
Behringer, the professional audio specialist will be rolling out a new consumer product line at the upcoming CES 2012 show. To draw attention to the launch, the company will be demonstrating the iNuke Boom, a 10,000-watt iPhone and iPod docking system. The larger than average iBoom weighs in 700 pounds and has a footprint that is eight feet wide and four feet high.
