Ambrosia Software has released iToner 2, the latest update to the company’s custom ringtone application that enables users to create personal ringtones for the iPhone. By placing MP3, AAC, WAVE, or AIFF audio files into the iToner window, songs can be synced to the iPhone for later use. Features of the new version offer a cropping ability where users are able to scrub the sliders to the desired section of a song before syncing, over 40 pre-created custom ring tones, and ClearTone technology to help optimize audio to match the iPhone speaker’s capabilities.

Ambrosia unveils Aquaria

Ambrosia on Thursday unveiled its game Aquaria, an underwater two-dimensional adventure game that offers puzzles, exploration, and combative aspects. Players control Naija, a being living in the water who can use her singing power of "The Verse" in order to defend herself or shift forms. Ambrosia highlights that Aquaria offers high-resolution graphics, original music compositions, and a level editor that even allows for editing of music and animations.

Ambrosia announces 3 new App Store games

Ambrosia Software has announced that it will be offering three new games in Apple's App Store. The games are as follows: Aki Mahjong, mondo Solitaire and Mr. Sudoku. Aki Mahjong takes a spin on a classic matching game. The principle is simple: allow users to enjoy a game of Mahjong while traveling on a journey through Japan at the same time.mondo Solitaire offers over one hundred different games of solitaire, meaning users will be able to find loved classics as well as find new games to enjoy for the future.

Ambrosia bringing Aki Mahjong to iPhone

Aki Mahjong for iPhone

Ambrosia is currently adapting its first iPhone game, Aki Mobile Mahjong, and is running a closed beta test as it works to release the game. Little is revealed on Ambrosia's development page, but it has already said that it is making use of Core Animation to select between levels, as well as EDGE and WiFi to download new levels. Aki Mobile Mahjong will also allow players to pause the game to take a call, and when the game is relaunched, they will be right where they left off.

Aki Mahjong updated to Universal Binary

Ambrosia recently announced the re-release of Aki Mahjong Solitaire 1.2 as a Universal Binary application, allowing users to play the tile-based game natively on Intel Macs. The new version also introduces the company's revamped registration system, as well as several improvements to the interface, gameplay, and several bug fixes. Ambrosia is selling Aki Mahjong Solitaire for $20, with both a free trial and free update available as well.
