Alaska Airlines Wi-Fi
Alaska Airlines recently announced it will offer a satellite-based trial Wi-Fi service during its flights to users with Wi-Fi-enabled notebooks, smartphones and other personal electronics devices with wireless Internet access. The service, offered by Row 44, has been in development for the past two years and will be available on the Airlines' specially-outfitted Boeing 737-700 passenger jets. Most common features will be accessible, including web browsing, online music and games, e-mail, IM chat and connections to Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
