AT&T has relaunched its Cricket prepaid brand nationally, rolling its existing Aio Wireless brand and services into the prepaid carrier. The new Cricket will provide customers with nation-wide access to AT&T's HPSA+ and 4G LTE network, rather than its previous smaller CDMA network, with customers having a new selection of price plans and devices to use on the service.
The case for the use of the color magenta in the mobile marketplace filed by T-Mobile against Aio Wireless, an AT&T subsidiary, has dealt a blow to the smaller no-contract carrier by a federal court. An injunction has been granted in favor of T-Mobile which restricts Aio from further use of the color.
AT&T has officially launched Aio Wireless, an awaited MVNO carrier offering cheaper prepaid plans. Aio is offering Basic, Smart, and Pro tiers for phones, all of which including unlimited calling and texting. Basic costs between $35 and $40, and includes 250MB of data. Smart costs $55 per month for 2GB, and the $70 Pro plan ups the data cap to 7GB. Once a cap is exceeded, Aio begins throttling speeds. A special $15 tablet plan provides 250MB of data.

Epson's Workforce line of printers is aimed at small businesses, and offers not only the standard "all-in-one" functions of copying, printing, scanning and faxing we've come to expect, but also remote printing via an iOS app. The Workforce 840 features two paper trays, fast (but somewhat noisy) printing and good-quality printing for a 4-ink printer. But there are a few flaws that may cause buyers to reconsider, as Reviews Editor Ilene Hoffman uncovers in our exclusive review.
Canon U.S.A. has announced three new PIXMA printers, MG4120 Wireless Photo All-In-One (AIO), MG3120 Wireless Photo All-In-One, and the MG2120 Photo All-In-One printers. The MG4120 and MG3120 use 802.11n Wi-Fi for networking, while the MG2120 uses a USB connection. All three printers use Canon's ChromaLife 100 ink system, which uses one black and one color cartridge. Canon claims the new ink system produces better yellows and reds, especially on plain paper. Each of the new printers can produce a full color 4x6 photo in approximately 44 seconds. The MG4120 and MG3120 also can duplex automatically.

Instagram now supporting multiple accounts
As reported earlier, Instagram has formally announced that it will roll out support for multiple accounts (up to five) in it's iOS app with an update that will bring the program to version 7.1.5. The feature has been one of the main attractions of third-party Instagram clients, but it is unclear if users must seek out an "add account" preference in the app, and some users are reporting that the ability to add accounts has not yet been added. The company says notifications "depend on when you last logged in, and the number of devices that are logged into that account," suggesting not all notifications across accounts will appear when logged into a given one. http://bit.ly/1moh95p
Pictures of Galaxy S7, Edge leaked
New images have been leaked of Samsung's new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The images of the Galaxy S7 are very similar to a draft leaked earlier this year, with a curved back reminiscent of the iPhone 3G with the normal Samsung camera hump in the upper center of the phone. The picture of the Galaxy S7 Edge as leaked is running a benchmark application showing modest improvements over the S6 line, if accurate. Both models are expected to be formally announced in a February 21 press event hosted by Samsung. http://bit.ly/20Gf07X
