RAID Monitor 3 adopts AppleRAID, new interface
Squashed Software, formerly Maza Digital, says it has released RAID Monitor 3, a major update to its RAID status utility. The app performs background tracking of drive errors, which are then passed on to administrators through alert messages. Version 3 has been entirely rewritten, and redesigned with a new interface.

The update also incorporates support for AppleRAID cards, along with customizable alert messages. In scheduling 24-hour reports, users can now choose when to receive the material. RAID Monitor requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later, along with an AppleRAID, MegaRAID or Disk Utility RAID configuration. The software is $30 new, or $15 as an upgrade from v2.x.
